With all the characteristics of reliable, powerful ZX-Series Amplifiers, the new KICKER® ZXS-Series Amplifiers continue to provide trouble-free amplification and loud, clear sound, and now from a significantly smaller heat sink than its ZX counterparts. Two models of ZXS monoblock amps are available, both under 14 inches long and easy to handle during installation. And they can still be personalized with colorful vinyl skins.

The ZXS1500.1 and ZXS1000.1 Mono-Channel Subwoofer Amplifiers give the user a couple of manageable power choices for supplying bass needs. Offering 1,500 and 1,000 watts respectively (listed ratings 2 Ohm at 14.4V), KICKER makes selections available for what it does best… bass. Hiding under a small, efficient chassis, ZXS.1 Amps offer a 24dB/octave low-pass electronic crossover and a 24dB/octave, high-pass subsonic filter fixed at 25 hertz. They feature up to +18dB of boost centered at 40 hertz, and both include the KICKER ZXRC remote bass control for that extra bit of bass boost at the driver’s fingertips.

Kenwood Launches 2012 Entry Level Units Early !

Long Beach, CA (11.23.11) – Kenwood USA Corporation announces the early delivery of three entry-level CD receivers that are part of Kenwood’s 2012 product lineup.

The KDC-252U ($120.00 suggested retail price) represents Kenwood’s entry level price point for in-dash control of iPhone, iPod and mass storage device. The addition of Pandora Internet radio link allows the KDC-252U to choose Internet radio channels, input thumbs up/down and view program data streaming from a Pandora-enabled iPhone (using the white cable that originally came with the iPhone or using the optional automotive-grade KCA-iP102 cable, not included). The Kenwood Music Control™ app, available in January 2012 for free on the Android Marketplace, allows for the KDC-252U to control and playback music files stored on Android-platform smartphones. One set of preamp outputs provides system building capabilities, including the addition of a subwoofer system which is made possible by an optional subwoofer signal output and a built-in low frequency crossover. A full function remote control is included.
